Margaux


Margaux Appellation is reserved for red still wine, located North West ( Blue ) within the Bordeaux wine region as seen in our Bordeaux wine glass. 

The geographical area of ​​the appellation Margaux stretches on the left bank of the Gironde Estuary.

Margaux appellation enjoys favorable temperatures offering the vineyards a thermal effect generated by the presence of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde. 

To comply with regulations, the vines have a minimal planting density of 7,000 vines per hectare.  

Wines of the appellation of origin Margaux are intense red in colour they have a certain finesse that is highlighted with the fruity aromas.  

Margaux is one of the most prestigious vineyard appellations in the world. 

The wines are the subject to ageing at least until the 1st of June following the year of harvest. 

The grape harvest, winemaking and development also ageing of the wines are guaranteed in the territory in the following municipalities in the Gironde Department.

Arsac, Cantenac, Labarde, Margaux and Soussans.
